Lilac Lotus:  A feminine gown inspired by the white linen and white embroidered trims. White linen, lilac silk, black & lilac polyester leopard print, taupe poly-cotton with pink and jade machine embroidery.  Collar - cuffs - sash belt:  Thick white cotton embroidery with some decorative cut-holes as part of 'embroidery Anglais'.  Fully lined - white brushed cotton, extremely warm - suitable cool bedrooms.  Two pale gold and white metal 'compass' design Liberty shop buttons.  Right hand pocket in seam.     Construction:   Variety of oblong patches, back pleat for ease.     Back length:   46 inches/117cm

Purple Lotus:  (sold) Shown as example of interesting experimental construction.  Back has diagonally placed patchwork, for bias cut 'hang', which continue over shoulders, becoming rectangular patchworks on the strait grain  continuing down the front.  This can be done on a dummy, draping joined lengths of rectangles from shoulders down over front and deciding how many.  Sides were difficult to join, resulting in a deep kimono styled sleeve.

Jade Garden is a substantial everlasting garment in heavy furnishing cottons with deep rolled collar, which would stand up for warmth.  Suitable as winter gift where warmth and style is a priority, so also suitable as summer coat. Belt has now changed to sash-belt in printed white/lilac printed cotton seen in other patches. Green fabric is embroidered taffeta, and must not be ironed hot or it melts.  Buttons are pewter.  Lining brown cotton lawn lower, with cream satin upper part including turned back sleeves.

Coral is short, so this is a three quarter length robe.

South Sea Bubble mini robe

Another robe from when I was living in Cornwall, inspired by the viscose 'Bali' print in blue, navy, lilac;   I coordinated with cottons and linens matching the 'Bali' print colours.  Diagonally constructed across back (like Purple Raj), it allows stretch fit for fuller figure.  Loose easy fit, with waist deep kimono-style sleeve shapes, formed by the diagonal back patches.  Pretty cotton violet flower print linings.
Size:   Medium UK 12-16, US 6-10. Back length 36”/ 910mm.   Buttons: 2 black-mauve pearl.

South Sea Bubble is for sale at a reduced price on Shamanic Nights ETSY shop, as it is quite 'wacky' and strong coloured, but it would look good with black leggings, long black or violet skirt, or as a practical and warm beach cover-up.
